One can pretty much say that winter is here as the tell-tale signs continue to mount up all around us.
Our Northern friends are already buried in several feet of snow; there are reports of cold fronts nipping at toes and noses all across the southern U.S., and even Christmas décor is already popping up here and there! (Whatever happened to not before Thanksgiving?)
I have to admit I cringe a little when I hear “All I Want for Christmas” on my car radio in mid-November and I’m certain I can’t be alone on this.
As a result, Halloween through New Years’ can easily seem like a Blur.
But still, it’s exciting to get into the festive spirit of the holidays as each day goes by, despite the extra demands this puts on our schedules not to mention our beauty routines.
It’s a "cold" fact of life that cold weather combined with dry air resulting from artificial heating can be quite harsh on our hair. And the last thing we need when we’re celebrating and trying to look our best is the crazy frizz and static associated with dry, lackluster winter hair!
Fortunately, there is a quick way to revitalize your strands and fight dreaded winter frizz.
Prepare yourself for luxuriously rich moisture ahead.
Called ‘liquid gold’ by some, Moraccan Argan Oil is an essential ingredient in the world of personal care. Each drop contains vital nutrients and fatty acids that heal damaged, frizzy hair while it forms a protective moisture barrier around the individual follicle and strand. This essentially makes each strand impenetrable to the biting cold of the winter season.
This rich body butter comes from the African Karite tree and is packed with vitamins A and E plus the added bonus of abundant fatty acids to help moisturize the skin and scalp. Using Shea butter on hair will strengthen both the strand and the root and is effective in preventing breakage.
You’ll want to apply this deep conditioning hair mask at least every two weeks. It works wonders to re-moisturize dried locks, minimizing damage and even results in easier styling as well.
Feel free to substitute the Essential oil of your choice in place of lavender. We love it’s soothing floral scent as well as its ability to accelerate hair growth by boosting circulation.
